Welcome to the official website of the 'Heathen Wolves' based in the ancient Wessex area of England. We aim to enlighten the English folk nation to the true religion of our ancient ancestors.
Many acts of cruel violence were initially brought upon our Heathen ancestors. All along there had been a resistance to the new foreign religion known as Christianity. The new religion was not an English religion and so eventually Christianity had to convert its very own beliefs to fit in with the traditional beliefs of the English. With force and sometimes violence many English people were made to convert to the new Abrahamic ways. Cathedrals and Churches were built upon our ancient holy and sacred sites by the Norman barons and under strict orders from Rome through the Kings of Norman blood stock now leading our people. Because of this, they had no other choice but to go to the Church for means of worship. As bad as it seems this was not the end of the true English religion. However, we can never exactly know how our ancient English faith was fully worshipped, but thanks to the resistance of our ancestors we have been left many clues.
Because of the resistance of our kindred, many celebrations have survived to this day, such as cheese rolling, well dressing, wassailing, mummers plays, hoodening, beating the bounds, Eostre, Yule and many many more. And thankfully due to the Icelandic Eddas, recent archeological evidence, historical sites, ancestral knowledge (passed from generation to generation) and with much thanks to Tacticus & St Bede, much of what was thought to have been lost has also survived.
With a lot of hard work and dedication we can now slowly piece together a puzzle of what our ancestors once held so dear. In a time when so many foreign religions threaten our very existence, we can safely say that 'English folk Heathenism' has thankfully been reborn.
Folk Heathenry is based upon English family values and raising awareness of the benefits that come with having a strong community of like minded people all pulling in roughly the same direction. We encourage our folk to live in harmony with nature, family, faith & folk. Unfortunately in this modern age many English folk have lost their way and we aim to remedy this.
We strongly believe that it is now time every English man and wife man, young and old, deserve to know the truth about our ancient faith which was stolen from us so many moons ago.
Folk Heathenry will teach you about honour & loyalty. It is a great way to make better our future as kinsmen and for our future generations who will undoubtedly suffer if ever they bare witness to the fall of our land - our England.
